Porcelain Pattern Inspired

​Ceramics are one of my favourite materials both for their look and feel. Patterned ceramics such as plates, bowls and cups are common in Hong Kong families. I am always curious about the geometric and traditional Chinese elements that form the patterns as they often have a meaning. My concept for this collection was to explore the details found on traditional Chinese ceramics and incorporate these onto coasters and greeting cards to add a modern twist to this age old design.
