Béi (畀) pinyin in Cantonese, meaning “to give”.

 

Founder Lily, Leekwan originally from Hong Kong, and based in the UK since 2019, launched the brand in 2017 with the question:

'What are you doing for others?'

After leaving Hong Kong she discovered a new perspective on her culture and a desire to preserve and perpetuate its unique aspects in her own small way. 

 

She produces art prints, homeware and stationery exploring her Cantonese background and her perspective on what her culture means to her.

 

The aim of Béi is to share Cantonese culture, values and ideas.
